    Hi Andrew,
since I decided to stay out of this discussion after having said what I want to says, I use the private channel.

Your questions are of minor relevance and some one will reply, what instead is rather predominant is the construction feasibility.
A small models suffer seriously from construction weight. Adding large sail area does not help either. My searching for this model found about 330g for the construction.
Adding a bulb of 500g you get a boat of 880g. The ratio : 500/880 = 56.8% which is very low. Class M >70%, you may continue, but at the end the model will be too heavy. Further the Sail plan has a large aspect ratio, that's means that the CE will stay high while the Fin/Bulb remain at 200mm.
The Model will suffer lateral stability unless the aspect ratio of the sail plan is substantially reduced.
3D print will not help very much compared with carbon lamination.
All in all this model is not easy to make.
    Cheers
    Claudio
