For anyone with an interest in multihulls - especially full size ones that can be the epicenter of nautical design, technology and materials - here is a link to the Class Championships pages soon to start.

It will be a series of fleet racing, ending in match racing. Probably will show some of our "nay-sayers" that "traditional" (whatever that might be) sailboat races can be accomplished in boats that actually sail fast, unhindered by a hanging "blob" of lead.

The multihulls are 25 feet long, 14 feet wide and all-up sialing weight is in the 300 - 400 lbs. range. If they get nice breezes, it should be a fun and fascinating event.
